Restaurant Review #2

This restaurant review is going to be on...

Blueberry Ale
The Pump house is a pub style restaurant. Every year for the Hub Cap comedy festival we plant ourselves at the pump house for the whole weekend.

The food at the pump house is AMAZING!

The pump house is a micro brewery, originally opened at 5 Orange Lane, downtown Moncton in 1999 by Shawn and his wife Lilia. Their first beer of the micro brewery being served on New Years eve 1999, as the first beer of the millennium. They later opened a second restaurant called The Barn Yard BBQ. Both being micro breweries in Moncton they are both pretty busy.

Hob Cap comedy festival : takes place the first full weekend of February, so we have gone every year for the last 3. We also enjoy amateur night. The comedians apply online, they pick the best 10. Some were pretty funny but others were not funny at all.

Last night ( the 5th of February ) our waiter was supper friendly, his name was Brad, he greeted us with a smile. We're regulars so he ordered our drinks when he seen us walking in the door. We just sat down and our drinks came almost as soon as we sat down. We ordered 'Tap'etizers' , I ordered a cup of ' Fire Hazard Chilli (a delicious chilli loaded with lean beef, beans, vegetables and a touch of habanero to stake the fire all simmered with fire Cheif's red ale and served with quenching beer bread.) My mom ordered 'salt & peppa ribs' (crispy pork ribblets sprinkles with coarse  pepper and salt) As my step dad just got plain onion rings. All served with beer of course (: !

Our main dishes were, meat lovers pizza (home made pizza dough topped with lots of pepperoni, bacon and hamburger). I ordered a Southwest Chicken Wrap (grilled chicken breast in a flour tortilla with assorted greens, tomatoes, mixed cheeses and chipotle dressing) Also ordered a Chicken Quesadilla (a flour tortilla filled with a mixture of colored vegetable, and a mixture of cheese, folded in a half moon shaped).

The pump house is home to the fire wood oven , by far the best pizza in town!

All in all this restaurant visit was awesome (: ! The staff is amazing the food is great.
